School's out so what better way to get in the holiday mood than to do a summer edition of the top 10 songs to be listening to in the sun!! 
This list is based mostly on feel good summer songs and make me feel like (although I live in England) I'm somewhere hot and exotic. 
If you haven't heard any of these songs I highly recommend having a listen!

1. Are you with me by Lost Frequencies. I have no doubt you've heard this song many times already and if you haven't, where have you been?! This is definitely the song that will remind me of my 2015 summer. It has been my favourite song for weeks now and I still love it! This is easily my Number 1 song of summer! Make sure you check it out.

2. Shine by Years and Years. We all know years and years for their hit song 'King' which was released January this year and zoomed to number 1. This is another single released from their album 'Communion' very recently and has straight away entered the top 10 UK chart. If this song doesn't make you want to get up and dance around your room then I don't know what will!

3. Sun goes down by Robin Schulz (featuring Jasmine Thompson). This song has been a favourite of mine for weeks and every time it comes on I love it even more. Jasmine Thompson is an incredible British vocalist who started out on youtube creating covers of popular songs- if you haven't heard any of her covers you should definitely go and check out her stuff, I'll link her channel below. I am a big fan of this track released with Robin Schulz in October 2014. I'm sure we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more of her.

4. Show me love by Sam Feldt ft Kimberly Anne. If you don't already know, this song is originally by Robin S, however this cover is amazing and if I can say so, I think it's better than the original. It is the perfect song for a relaxed summer's evening and definitely one for your holiday playlist. We need so many more covers of songs like this!

5. Sexual healing by Marvin Gaye (kygo remix). The original of this song is so good but I LOVE this remix. Although this is not a new song I add it to my summer playlist every year and it cannot go unshared. It brings back so many memories of previous summers for me which is why I continue to play it and love it even more every time I hear it.

6. Trap queen by Fetty Wap. I'm sure you've all heard and love this song that entered the billboard hot 100 early this year and since then has peaked at number 2 in the UK and Denmark. It's such a catchy song and I am constantly finding myself singing it without realising. I need more songs like this on my summer playlist which get me in the party mood.

7. Waiting for love by Avicii. I love this song sooo much, if you haven't already heard it you need to!!! It was released in May this year and needs more credit than what it's getting. I think this song will soon be climbing high up the charts as people catch on to its summer feel.

8. Cheerleader by OMI. It wouldn't be a summer playlist without adding cheerleader to it. At some point over the last few months everyone has loved this song and you can't deny it! I'll be listening to this song throughout all of summer as it's one of my top songs and I love its catchy tune so much.
9. I wanna get better by Bleachers. Bleachers are an American indie pop band that released this song as their lead single on their album 'Strange Desire' in 2014. I can guarantee you will be hearing a lot more of this song if you haven't already. This song has the perfect summer feel to it for any sunny event be it a chilled afternoon or a big celebration party.

10. Lean on by Major Laser & DJ Snake. This is such a popular song at the moment that everyone loves so i'm sure you've heard it. I have to have it on my summer playlist! Everytime it comes on it makes me so happy. I think this song will stay popular for a while as it so good
