Since I've been gone
11:20
I'm going to start this post off with a huge apology, it's been 3 months since my last post and thats inexcusable but i've got my spark back and its time for some exciting new stuff.
Since my last post a lot has happened so i'm gonna give you a big run down of all the news.
Let's jump back to summer. My last post was just before I went on holiday to Kalkan, Turkey. I spent 2 amazing weeks there with my parents where I made some lovely new friends and met up with old ones who happened to be there the same time (this was so lucky for me as I could get away from my parents for a bit!!). There's so much I could tell you about this holiday but I think you'd be reading for a while. We visited beach clubs, went on boat trips, lounged around the pool and went to some brilliant bars and restaurants. I'd like to say I picked up a tan but that would mean suffering sitting in the sun for hours which I just can't do, so I spent most of my time in the pool or reading (but I did gain a few hundred extra freckles). The 2 weeks we had on holiday literally flew by and we were soon back in (not so) sunny England.
Near the end of the holiday I received my GCSE results. Because of the time difference I found myself waiting, what seemed like, significantly longer than anyone else. My results appeared online an hour after everyone else found theres out- I was extremely impatient in that hour as I was hearing how well everyone had done and couldn't give any answers back. I paced around the pool all morning-much to everyones annoyance- until it was time to go to my room and refresh the page for 15 minutes before they were released. When they appeared a rush of adrenaline hit me, this was 10% excitement and 90% nervousness. My final results came out as 2 A's and 7 B's. I was over the moon with these and couldn't wait to tell people.
When we got home it was nearly September which meant back to work and school. I was starting a new college which I was so excited about but also very scared. I've decided to write a separate post on my new adventure at Reigate and also other new things going on so be sure to keep an eye out, it will give you an insight into my time so far at Reigate college.
Between coming home from Turkey and going back to college nothing too exciting happened. I caught up with friends, went shopping and had some good nights out. Both my brothers returned home from their year away, one was living in Spain and the other was in a student house. It's a lot louder having them home but I love having them back.
My most recent news I have to share with you is about a new job! For the last year I've been working in a cafe which I love but after going through an application and interview process with waitrose I've been offered a job. This is something I will talk about in my next post with all the other new things in my life but I just wanted to give you a heads up about how excited I am to be working there.
Thank you so much for reading, as always feel free to leave me some comments and let me know what you think!
Love Always
Becca X
